I was inspired by Saul Bass because of his uneven and jagged images; I wanted to use his style for my visuals. His perspectives seem to have been thrown out of the window but it works, as if it is a flat surface with a suggestion of a 3 dimension. I didn’t want the colours to be too contemporary I wanted them to be something not normally seen on a cushion or on a wall in a 1950’s theme.
I wanted the viewer to feel that they didn’t have to conform to traditional ways of perspectives and personal style.
