Kate Usher is a designer that I was inspired by her work, I have been in contact with her for two years nearly. I first got in contact with her through my first portfolio visit, when she gave me feedback about my work. In the process she mentioned that my colour palette, needed some attention and she couldn't envisage my colour palette working well in interior. When I received this comment I was surprised as I thought my colour palette worked well. However, reflecting on my work from a year ago, I feel that my work as enhanced and I have a stronger version on how I would like my work to be presented within the interior world. I showed her a selection of my new collection where she replied:
‘It is nice to hear from you again and to see her new work, I am glad you took my feedback and responded to what I said, I feel you work has improved and you colour palette works very well and is more distinctive. Your work is very urban and current. It is also nice to see her work made as products rather than the pattern as I can have better visual on how your work would be placed.

Reflecting back on my past response and what she has said in my current feedback, I was very please to know that she liked my work, and I can see where I went wrong in my previous portfolio visit is a massive confidence boost.
