I visited Thunder egg, who are a shop based in the Northern quarter who sell a selection of stationary items as well as clothing and interior items. I am already a customer of thunderegg and thought that it would be a good opporunity to get feedback and see whether they would sell some of my items in future.
I was excited they kindly gave me a portfolio visit about the work I have produced during my latest project. I began showing them a range of different items that I have produced, a lamp, coasters, notepads, chair cover, cushions and my knitted blind.
She seemed very interested in my work and was curious where my inspirations came from. She openly expressed that she love for all my products in particular my cushions, coasters and notepads. She described them as unique and exclusive, which was a massive confidence boost. She talked about how my notepads are very contemporary and would sell ever well. However, she mentioned that my colour palette was masculine and limited. But overall she did say that she would be happy to sell a selection of my items and she gave me contact details to get in touch with the manager.
