Walls are talking

On the 19th August, I attended an exhibition at the whitworth art gallery,'Walls are talking' in Manchester. The exhibition featured many different wall papers both traditional and contemporary, it was almost like they were laid out as a time line. I was particularly inspired by the illustrative nature of some of the designs because of the risk taking of the designer when they left so much white space, so it becomes a statement which draws the audiences attention to the image
